My name is Sarah Costa. I am a freshman at Burlington High School in Burlington, Massachusetts. I love spending time with my family and friends. Also, there is my best friend in the house, my dog Luna. My best friend who I grew up with and have been best friends with since birth, is going to a different school this year, so I am looking forward to making new friends here at the high school. I like to play basketball, lacrosse and volleyball. My favorite thing to do is watch football with my dad and have big family dinners.
My high school career is to succeed in my social, academic, and athletic skills. I want to make more friends and get along with everyone in high school. My academic goal is to be on the honor roll this year. This year I chose to take all honor classes, so I am trying my best to stay on task and not fall behind. My long term academic goal is to be a member of the National Honor Society. I’m hoping I can apply and be accepted sophomore year because I am a strong leader. My athletic goals are to get better at all three sports I play. I have played basketball since I was little, and I just started playing lacrosse three years ago. This year I picked up volleyball and I love it already. I am a hard working player and I like to stay fit as much as I can. My goal is to be playing one varsity sport by the time I am a sophomore in high school.
When I graduate high school, I would like to go off to college.My long term career goal is to go into the medical field. I would like to become some sort of nurse or doctor. Nobody in my family is in the medical field, but it has always interested me. I love using technology, so maybe I would like to go into that field after college, so I am hoping to strengthen my technology skill by taking a course called digital literacy. In Burlington High School, every student and teacher has their own iPad, so we are a highly digital school. I hope to learn more about technology this year. Also when I get older and have a good job, I would like to have a family and a summer house in New Hampshire.
